"Computer ethics"

Computer ethics is a branch of practical philosophy which deals with how computing professionals should make decisions regarding professional and social conduct. The term "computer ethics" was first coined by Walter Maner[1] in the mid-1970s, but only since the 1990s has it started being integrated into professional development programs in academic settings. The conceptual foundations of computer ethics are investigated by information ethics, a branch of philosophical ethics established by Luciano Floridi. Computer ethics is a very important topic in computer applications.

technology trends in 2009

December 28th, 2008 by Anil
The start of next year will be delayed by circumstances beyond everyone’s control. New Year will arrive a second late when time across the globe is adjusted to account for the changes in the Earth’s rotation.
A ‘Leap Second’ will be added onto the final minute of 2008 because the planet is gradually slowing down as it spins on its axis. The tweak will help correct the time-lag which shows up on ultra-accurate atomic clocks.
Our planet rotates on its axis at irregular rates, and on average has been falling behind atomic time at a rate of about two milliseconds per day. It now trails the official clock by about six-tenths of a second.
As a result of this difference, atomic clocks can get out of sync with the Earth and periodically have to be adjusted. Since it’s the atomic clocks that are used to set all other clocks, a Leap Second has to be added from time to time to make up the difference.
It is the 24th time since 1972 that the adjustment has been made by the Paris based International Earth Rotation and Reference Systems Service at intervals varying from six months to seven years. The last was in 2005.

Internet
Many existing radio and television broadcasters provide Internet "feeds" of their live audio and video streams (for example, the BBC). They may also allow time-shift viewing or listening such as Preview, Classic Clips and Listen Again features. These providers have been joined by a range of pure Internet "broadcasters" who never had on-air licenses. This means that an Internet-connected device, such as a computer or something more specific, can be used to access on-line media in much the same way as was previously possible only with a television or radio receiver. The range of material is much wider, from pornography to highly specialized, technical webcasts. Podcasting is a variation on this theme, where—usually audio—material is first downloaded in full and then may be played back on a computer or shifted to a digital audio player to be listened to on the move. These techniques using simple equipment allow anybody, with little censorship or licensing control, to broadcast audio-visual material on a worldwide basis.Webcams can be seen as an even lower-budget extension of this phenomenon. While some webcams can give full-frame-rate video, the picture is usually either small or updates slowly. Internet users can watch animals around an African waterhole, ships in the Panama Canal, the traffic at a local roundabout or their own premises, live and in real time. Video chat rooms, video conferencing, and remote controllable webcams are also popular. Many uses can be found for personal webcams in and around the home, with and without two-way sound.YouTube, sometimes described as an Internet phenomenon because of the vast amount of users and how rapidly the site's popularity has grown, was founded on February 15, 2005. It is now the leading website for free streaming video. It uses a flash-based web player which streams video files in the format FLV. Users are able to watch videos without signing up; however, if users do sign up they are able to upload an unlimited amount of videos and they are given their own personal profile. It is currently estimated that there are 64,000,000 videos on YouTube, and it is also currently estimated that 825,000 new videos are uploaded every day.

"HAPAG NG PAG-ASA"

"HAPAG NG PAG-ASA" is to inspired the poor children and to help us . Hapag ng pag-asa opened our eyes to the reality that there is people who needs to be helped and to cared, to loved the poor children while we are not contented of what we have. They are contented of eating once or twice a day. A very crucial thing happened in the world. But Jesus are always there to help us and ready to give his hands to the poor.

It is in the hunger, thirst, and difficulties these children endure that they become partakers of the supper the Lord has prepared for them. Are we not drowning His call for communion whenever we savor the joys of abundance apart from our Host?
At this time and world society of ours that seem to give more importance on instant gratification and “doing away” with suffering by removal of awareness and desensitization, are we not also refusing to hear His call?
For it is in our hunger, thirst, and suffering that we realize our dependency to Him that it is with great importance that neither we must turn our backs nor close our eyes from the reality of human suffering. We must embrace it, we must continue not just to see but to look, not just to hear but to listen.

internet is the most important and it can fast transfer data.for example letters, information.internet is very automatic and powerful .
